The Joey Cushman Memorial Scholarship Fund is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit tax-exempt organization.  All proceeds are used to directly support the Fund, there are no paid salaries, etc.

Joey believed in the pursuit of educational goals and was the grateful recipient of several scholarships during his college years.  This Scholarship Fund was established in his memory to celebrate his life by providing financial opportunities to others.  Our mission is to award annual scholarships to involved and motivated individuals.  Scholarships are awarded to applicants that exhibit a need and also have an enthusiasm for learning and community involvement.  Consideration is given to all fields of education and is not limited to Criminal Justice.  Scholarships are awarded annually and are paid directly to the recipient’s school registrar.  These funds are designated for educational expenses only and do not include room and board.
